Each week I will post up some tips for easy jewelry making. I will start out with the basics, and hopefully we both will become more advanced as time goes on! Beading Tips for Beginners: · Decide the length of your piece. You can easily do this by taking your string or metal and wrapping it around your neck or wrist.
· When measuring your length, remember that adding a clasp will take up an additional half inch!
· When choosing your beads, decide if would like one large center piece, then you will need enough smaller beads to run the length of the necklace or bracelet on either side.
· To make an original piece mix bead colors and sizes to make a pattern.
