If its new and is electronic, it has to be covered in Swarovski crystals! Microsoft’s kinect, the new video game device that is like the WII but without the need for a controller, has made its official entrance into the marketplace.   If it’s cool then the company DS Styles will crystallize it and sell it. This Kinect will blind you as you move to the beat. 

Maybe the perfect Christmas gift for Justin Beiber? I can totally see it!  If you need to get this ASAP, it will cost you $632. Or you can just “do it yourself” of course picking out your own SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Flat backs No Hotfix and gluing them on 1 at a time, I think that just might be worst than wrapping! But it would be custom!

Serena Williams Bedazzles her Leg Cast with Swarovski Crystals

It looks like Serena Williams has taken some pointers from Katy Perry’s lips … and bedazzled her leg cast with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS of course! After undergoing surgery, the fashion-conscious tennis star wanted to add some personality to her plain black cast.

When I saw this article I thought to myself: I can’t believe the only reason I know that one of the best tennis players had surgery was because she Swarovski Crystallized her cast!! haha my blog is sooo relevant! 



She was quoted saying “I decorated it myself with crystals. I am trying to make the best out of a bad situation. I hope to be out of the cast and back on the court by spring.” Ironically, the surgery came as a result of her foot getting cut on broken glass — not from sustaining a tennis-related injury. How ironic!! ahha

Well I would do the same thing girl! It looks like she glued some Jet, Flat Back crystals in a circle around the top of the cast and also used Jet flat backs to sign her name at the pink top.

Katy Perry got two covers for Harper’s Bazaar for the month of December 2010. The limited edition shot is a bleached out Katy Perry with 150 red SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystals applied to her lips for a standout feature.

Hmm I’m really wondering how she got those crystals to stay on her lips.  They really are only made for heat application or gluing! Probably some kind of crazy face glue or something! I guess she really can make anything look sexy!

The Mercedes Keys Get SWAROVSKI Crystallized

 

The inventors of the automobile and the inventors of the Aurora Borealis crystal effect today introduce to the market an outcome of their cooperation: a car key upon which more than 200 fine SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS sparkle alongside the Mercedes-Benz star. A limited edition of 800 of these luxurious keys will initially be offered to customers in Japan.

The key design was developed jointly between Mercedes-Benz in Japan and Swarovski in Austria – specifically to suit Japanese lifestyle and fashion tastes. The long sides are both set with crystals, with a choice of pink or black available. 

The keys are individually and meticulously hand-crafted by Swarovski. This elegant lifestyle and fashion accessory is available to Mercedes-Benz customers in addition to the two standard keys at an additional cost of 367 euros. Following the pilot phase in Japan, it will be checked if the project could be extended to other markets.

Hey I can’t afford a Mercedes Benz right now but if I could I damn BETTER get a swarovski crystallized key with it!

Maybe I’ll glue some Swarovski Flat Backs onto my Pontiac key when i get home to make me feel better =)

Katy Perry Wears A Swarovski Barbie-Inspired Outfit

Here’s Katy Perry AGAIN rocking the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS – this time Barbie Style!!

The singer wore this gorgeous outfit in Vienna, Austria last week during a photocall.
Turns out the black and silver Swarvoski crystaled corset was really designed for Barbie by The Blonds.

The outfit made its debut at The Blonds Spring 2011 runway.

 

And as part of the special collection, three one-of-a-kind Barbies,  were created and designed by The Blonds.

Fire-Free and Knife-Free Jack-o-Lantern Made with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS

Looking for a fun project that involves no dangerous knife cutting or fire safety precautions?  Try making a high “fancy” Jack-o-lantern with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS!
This pumpkin was crystallized with 2028 Flat backs no hot fix in 16ss Jet for a traditional Jack-o-Lantern look.  To add some crystal bling, 2 2028 Flatbacks no hotifx in 20ss Crystal were added to the eyes and pretty bow at the top!

Materials Needed:

• 360 pieces of SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS 2028 Flat Backs No Hot Fix (colors and size of choice)
• 2-part epoxy glue that dries on clear
• Tooth Picks or Q-Tips
• Tweezers

Directions:
Lay the pumpkin flat on its “back” to help with applying the flat backs.
Use tweezers to pick up crystals
Use tooth pick or Q-tip to pick up small amount of glue and apply onto back of crystal
Stick flat back on and press in firmly
Let flat backs dry 1 hour

In a fashion first, Diet Coke fans and fashionistas alike will be able to create their own bespoke crystal bottle in Johnny’s pop up workshop—‘the Diet Coke Crystal Customisation Boudoir’ at Selfridges’ London flagship store this October.




For two exciting weeks from October 14 Diet Coke girls are invited to Johnny’s dazzling workshop—‘the Diet Coke Crystal Customisation Boudoir’—housed in Selfridges’s Ground Floor, to create their very own bottles.  Inside, Johnny and his team will be on hand to help create individual bespoke designs, with shoppers choosing from a selection of striking Swarovski Elements to be embellished onto a limited edition pink Diet Coke glass bottle and topping it off with the name or initials and crowning it with yet more crystals.

Swarovski Crystals Walk Fashion Week

Some of the fashion world’s rising stars got a boost this week in the form of glittering Swarovski crystals.  During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the crystal maker chose to support designers Prabal Gurung and Juan Carlos Obando in building their new collections for spring/summer 2011.

As a result, both designers incorporated Swarovski crystals into their collections, demonstrating the vast possibilities in designs of all kinds.  Coverage of the shows and exclusive content is now available to view at Swarovski.tv.

For more than 10 years, Swarovski has worked with international talent like Erdem, Marios Schwab, Holly Fulton, Mark Fast, Michael Van der Ham, Richard Nicoll, and others to produce inspiring runway visions. Collaborating with Gurung and Obando was the next step.

A Sparkling Venus Williams!

Over the long weekend Venus Williams yet again entertained the crowds with her on court fashion at the US Open. On Friday, the tennis star wore a very sheer and very short black dress, if you can call it that, with crystal accents.

Then on Sunday, she wore the same style outfit in magenta that was embellished in different colored crystals.

I love the fact that she’s bringing style to a sport that historically has been quite fashionably boring! Have you seen the bodies on these tennis players?  Why not show them off with some crystals! There’s noting totally fancy about the design, it definitely has Do-It-Yourself possibilities!

Who Shined at The 2010 Emmys

As always, bling shined on the red carpet of this year’s Emmy Awards.  However, this time there were some fresh faces that sparkled!

New shows like Modern Family and Glee made their debut and were many of the night’s winners! Everyone looked stunning this year and these were our top picks for best dressed lastnight:

Claire Danes won an Emmy for her role as Temple Grandin in the HBO production ‘Temple Grandin.’ She is in a Swarovski Crystal covered Armani Prive gown.

 
TV presenter, Maria Menounos hosted NBC’s red carpet coverage before the Emmys, and looked gorgeous in a Ralph & Russo custom designed couture gown, which was covered with more than 15,000 Swarovski elements!

A Luxury Swarovski Crystal Idea for Your Baby
