One thing I haven’t shared with my readers yet, is my undying love for the Boston Celtics. With Game 5 happening tonight against The Miami Heat in Miami, I have to admit I’m a little nervous but extremely confident they will fight to make it to the next round (that’s just their style!)
Well, lucky for me I had a very nice co-worker who went to a game recently, bring me back one of those Celtics towels they throw out in the crowd. It was very nice getting to work in the morning and seeing it on my desk, so I just HAD TO crystallize it (that’s just MY style!)
The only Flat Backs With Hotfix I had ready on hand were some size ss20 in Light Siam. Even though I knew I was risking my towel looking like a Christmas decoration, I went for it! One thing I learned from this project is the fact that you have to be careful when hotfixing on dyed towels! The heat from The Bejeweler was melting the green dye and it was getting messy, so I had to hotfix on the white part of the towel only!
I actually really really love the color Light Siam and I thought it actually really popped with the green! What do you think? I love it and now it is decorating my office =) I think it will be a good luck charm for the Playoffs I can feel it!
