The Little Black Dress Crystallized

Fashion is in a constant flux but one thing that remains in style is the simple black dress.  Both slimming and flattering, a simple black dress will always be the Go To article of clothing in every woman's closet.

Not surprisingly,  a catalog presented by Crystallized(TM) -  Swarovski Elements along with Phillips de Pury and Company, decided to take The Little Black Dress to another level.  Just doing what they do best!





The catalog features 22 “Ways to Say Black.”  The catalog features wonderful creations from 22 leading fashion designers showcasing their take on The Little Black Dress. Crystallized dresses by Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Martin Grant are some of the special designs featured in this collection.

In September all 22 dresses will be auctioned at Phillips’ New York gallery on 450 West 15th Street. The funds raised from the auction will be used to help the American Cancer Society and la Ligue Nationale Contre le Cancer in France. Which one is your favorite?

My favorite dress from the collection is definitely the main dress pictured above designed by Martin Grant.  The whole dress is crystallized and the detailing is amazing. I absolutely love the sleeves and would die for the chance to wear this piece:
